Purpose
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Employee Benefits Channel in accordance with company practices, policies and procedures. Service and market accounts consistent with skill level and carrier requirements.
Role Expectations
• Assist account team in providing quality customer service to existing accounts as referenced in the Roles, Responsibilities and Skills Chart.
• Assist with special projects in the office as requested.
• Monitor and maintain accurate client information in account management systems as assigned.
• Act in capacity of client manager on assigned accounts.
• Pursue a program for personal and professional development.

Core Competencies
• Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.)
• Ability to organize large volumes of information and set priorities
• Aptitude for details with consistency in follow-up
• Ability & desire to take ownership of role expectations with accountability to internal and external clients
• Intermediate insurance knowledge with proven ability to apply same to your daily work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
• High School diploma, two-four years in insurance company or agency with the majority of those years in employee benefits.
• Experience working with computers in Windows environment.
• Strong MS Office skills, e.g. MS Word and MS Excel.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Above average mathematical skills.
• Life, Accident and Health Insurance License
