Job Description
Summary:
Responsibilities include assisting the Banking Center Manager in supervising the internal operations, establishing and maintaining an internal sales environment, and ensuring the proper training and development of the staff.
Costumer Service Skills:
Willingness to provide a level of service which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors.
Superior sales and persuasion skills and the ability to communicate product information to customers and potential customers.
Assures customers are provided professional service in all aspects of banking services.
Participates in business development to solicit new customers and enhance existing customer relationships.
Ability to promote sales culture and assist with team/individual development.
Interpersonal Skills:
Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.
Possess clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to effectively express thoughts, ideas and concepts to bank employees and bank customers.
Must be willing to work as part of a team.
Employee Skills:
Must have thorough knowledge of branch operations to coordinate daily functioning of the branch and meet established deadlines.
Proficient in researching and resolving complex customer and employee issues.
Must have full knowledge or ability to learn the Bank's savings, checking, and lending policies and guidelines to provide full banking services to the Bank's customers.
Must have the analytical ability to develop solutions to problems and questions pertaining to branch operations and customer and personnel/human resource issues with sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
Must be capable of selection, training, coaching, counseling, evaluation, disciplinary action and termination of subordinate managers and/or employees.
Ability to plan and establish departmental financial goals. Accountable for establishing a plan for meeting/exceeding branch deposit goals, overall customer satisfaction and branch profitability.
Must have strong motivational skills.
Other Requirements:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Must be willing to register and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), to comply with the SAFE Act Requirements.
Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
Must be willing to join area service clubs and organizations and represent the Bank at functions and meetings.
