Investor Relations Associate
Division: Investor Relations
Reports to: Investor Relations Lead
Location: Dallas, Texas
Nationstar Mortgage (NYSE: NSM), the largest non-bank mortgage servicer, is seeking a highly motivated professional to fill an Investor Relations Associate position.
A successful Investor Relations Associate will be a trusted resource for personnel across the company. As such, you will assist in providing thoughtful, timely, accurate, updates to shareholders, the Board of Directors, and business partners. This role is an integral part of the Investor Relations team and will interact with all aspects of the business.
Scope of Responsibilities:
• Developing value-added content in PowerPoint for investors and related parties; assist with presentation design.
• Coordination of internal information gathering and analysis.
• Work in Microsoft excel to develop ad-hoc investment analysis.
• Guide new market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
• Track, analyze and communicate peer earnings and news updates and provide summaries for executive management for informational purposes.
• Interact with senior company executives to prepare for quarterly earnings calls, including drafting earnings releases, management Q&A preparation, and investor feedback.
• Create and update marketing materials, such as press releases, investor presentations, website content and fact sheets.
• Assist IR Lead with earnings conference and other webcast logistics.
• Tracking investor calls and meetings and designing an appropriate follow up plan.
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
• Expert knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Very strong writing, editing, verbal communication, and correspondence skills; ability to write clearly, concisely, and achieve the right tone with executive management and investors.
• Analytical and quantitative skills and comfortable with financial concepts.
• Exceptional project and time management skills.
• Ability to handle a breadth of responsibilities, while maintaining accuracy and a detail-oriented focus.
• Strong team player with ability to independently manage a full workload and respond to shifting priorities.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Be a self-starter and capable of managing your own time effectively.
Education and Work Experience:
• 3+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. Equivalent years of professional experience in the field can be substituted.
