Reporting directly to the Global Head of Delivery Risk management the roles will be assigned to specific regions but could involve Global responsibilities should the requirement arise.
The Role
Based in Region, you will be responsible for all aspects of delivery of complex integrated software solutions comprising of potentially all Finastra products. Reporting to the Global Head of Delivery Risk Management, you will be expected to ensure that the company achieves revenue and profit targets by effectively managing resources, programs and clients, and effectively interfacing with all key stakeholders within Finastra, for example, Finance, Legal, Product Development, Customer Services, LoB’s, Global Delivery, Sales and GS Sales.
Specific expectations include:
• Ensuring client success in complex programs
• Successful execution of scope, in accordance with plan.
• Ensure that services revenue and utilisation targets are met and that maximum profitability is achieved.
• Establish a working environment based on trust and professionalism, in which client escalations are dealt with in a prompt and proportionate manner.
• Establish strong working relationships with client and Finastra architecture and solution teams and ensure the programs progress with minimal solution ambiguity.
• Build positive and productive relationships within the various product, delivery and support teams of Finastra. Maintain oversight of the work being performed by these teams from the various program, and hold them to account.
• Represent Finastra at client steering committee meetings or other management meetings and ensure clear and positive outcomes.
• Ensure all stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities are clear.
• Ensure that effective program and project budget controls are implemented.
• Adhere to Finastra program and project practices in a pragmatic manner, while accommodating specific requirements of the program.
• Ensure that Finastra fulfils all of its contractual obligations to the clients.
• Manage risk proactively.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for new service offerings or additional business.
• Manage and resolve escalations, restore client trust in Finastra
Your Experience and Qualifications
This is a role for a very Senior Program Managers with an in depth experience in complex transformation and integration programs. Ideally, your experience should include:
• Prior experience in Banking and with significant Banking software based Transformation projects.
• A successful track record in delivering projects and programs to a positive commercial outcome and positive Client expectations.
• Substantial prior experience with a system integrator or software services provider as a program director or senior project manager.
• Experience on the customer side of an integration program.
• Proven subject matter expertise in Core Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Financial Digital Channels, Trade and Treasury systems.
Your qualifications will include tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline. Project management certification is desirable but not essential. Proven track record is essential.

This role requires a mature individual who can withstand the pressures of long-term, highly challenging programs as well as in highly flammable client escalations:
• Ability to build strong personal and professional relationships with clients, and within a complex entity such as Finastra.
• Ability to manage competing interests and viewpoints while maintaining delivery to plan.
• Leadership skills to sustain a team in a complex organisation; particularly via influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in formal and informal settings.
• Strong understanding of Regional business and cultural practices and be able to deal with clients in a firm way with patience and tact.
• Excellent written English and good communication skills. Ability to read and write in multiple languages would be an advantage.
• Ability to reside in Region, and to travel frequently throughout the region.
