KPMG is currently seeking a Director Compensation and Benefts WNT to join our Washington National Tax (WNT) practice.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with other offices of KPMG LLP to advise clients
• Collaborate with other practice groups in Washington National Tax (WNT) and work with KPMG International member firms
• Draft and review tax memoranda and opinions
• Instruct courses related to the taxation of compensation and benefits arrangements, including deferred compensation, equity arrangements, profits interest, and qualified plans
• Draft and review articles
Qualifications:
• A minimum of eight years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
• Bachelor's degree from an accrediKted college/university
• Licensed CPA or J.D./LL.M. or Master's in Taxation from an accredited college/university for non-CPA eligible candidates (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
• Excellent advisory and compliance skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
