Transformation Director, Global Platforms
Our Transformation Director role is critical to the success of all the global platforms across JLL. The prime responsibility of the role is to oversee the Platform Projects globally ensuring that they deliver transformations to technology, processes, reporting, operating models and governance across all JLL Business Lines and Functions. By working with and managing both the work stream leads and our consulting partners, the Transformation Director will develop a three year strategic plan for execution, closely monitoring all realized milestones.
This role will report to the Global Transformation Director and be located in Chicago or London.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supports large-scale enterprise-wide projects that incorporate a proactive and innovative solution to addressing business challenges and achieving organizational goals and objectives. Integrates how the big picture of the initiatives comes together from definition through implementation on implications across the business
• Oversees and provides direction to Global Business Function Transformation project teams, regarding process standardization and simplification, operating model design, program management, and change management
• Prioritize programs and projects based on changing functional needs, resource capacity, risk exposure, and their interdependencies
• Supports development of clear case for change, desired outcomes, accurate scope, clear roles and decision-making
• Gives advice and counsels leaders without owning the projects themselves in order ensure the steps, tracking and expectations are consistent.
• Supports initiative teams with skills in process excellence, project management, facilitation, problem solving, accelerating transformation and value creation to drive toward required outcomes. Surfaces capacity, pacing, resourcing issues and any other red flag issues needing leadership attention.
• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communications.
• Ensures timelines are adhered to for initiatives by keeping executives aware of any red flags concerning the timing or integration process
• Ensure organizational alignment in the design and execution of
initiative efforts
• Provides critical thinking and influence by helping to link the strategic agenda to the resulting execution plan. Provides guidance and counsel in development of long range plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, work plans, timelines, and financial outcomes.
• Improves strategy execution by ensuring seamless service delivery and hand-offs from strategy formulation to execution
Our Transformation Director will have a strong combination of strategic skills and business strength with direct experience of leading the creation and execution of pan-regional transformation and change projects.
Our Director needs a demonstrable and highly commercial mind-set, strong financial acumen as well as excellent listening and communication skills. A logical, structured approach to problem solving and common sense are key.
Ideal Experience:
• 15 years’ professional experience, of which part with a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Significant and direct experience of leading major international business transformation projects
• Excellent analytical and program management skills are essential.
• Commercially and financially astute, comfortable with company P&L and balance sheet.
• Experience with digital transformation would be useful
• Diverse industry and functional backgrounds gained through consulting or elsewhere
• Ideally this experience will comprise tactical, operational, performance improvement and/or longer term transformational engagements.
• Pan-regional exposure a major advantage, having led project and team efforts across multiple global geographies.
• Understanding of or exposure to global real estate markets preferred but not essential.
