Director, Talent Management
Overview
• Accountable for program design, program development and initial implementation for all talent programs
• Partners with HRBPs to scale programs for local implementation or directly delivers programs to employees or managers
• Talent programs include executive development, performance management, succession planning, career development, employee engagement surveys and talent assessment programs
Role
• Drives large-scale talent projects through to implementation and serves as primary point of contact for escalation and problem resolution
• Facilitates communication and execution activities with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., business units, functions, COEs and vendors) through all phases of talent management programs
• Oversees HR data collection and analysis processes and tools, and leverages analytic insights to form program/project recommendations
• Provides advice to business units/functions on talent program design and execution
• Reviews and suggests appropriate talent program metrics that are linked to HR objectives and Mastercard business goals
• Manages implementation of major talent initiatives which may include large-scale executive development, performance management, succession planning, career development programs, employee engagement surveys and talent assessment programs
• Responsible for implementing talent management and talent development programs for regions
• Partners with legal counsel to ensure compliance with external regulations and Mastercard business strategy
• Participates in strategic planning and scalable implementation of short and long-term talent program goals
• Manages vendor relationships and oversees vendor performance, conducts vendor screening and assists with vendor selection
• Maintains a working knowledge of external market best practices

All About You
• Experience managing complex day-to-day talent program design, implementation and communication operations
• Experience building working partnerships with leaders and acting as a trusted advisor for business units/regions on talent management issues
• Managed escalated program issues in an adaptive, proactive and time-sensitive manner
• Experience implementing enhancements to talent management programs/processes based relevant best practices, external trends and leveraging advanced analytics
• Track record driving a specific talent management program to completion
• Demonstrated success facilitating an internal/external working session with management on relevant talent management topics (e.g., talent review, performance management)
• Demonstrated success representing Mastercard at industry conferences and panels to speak on talent management related matters
