Job Description
Visa Direct is rapidly expanding to new marketplaces and use cases. We’re looking an experienced Product Leader to join the team to work on Visa Direct growth initiatives. This role will work closely with Visa Direct Enablement partners (Acquirers, Processors, Treasury Banks and Payment Platforms) to successfully launch, commercialize our Visa Direct Certified Partner program in North America.
Our goal is to ensure long-term market adoption, growth and scale by enabling Visa Direct Enablement Partner sales teams to be our front-line sales force selling Visa Direct effectively to their existing clients.
This role requires excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills as the individual will interface with Enablement partners Business, Commercial and Sales teams plus Visa internal stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, PR, and Finance teams.
The role will also partner with Visa Marketing and Digital teams to manage the Visa Direct Certified website, Partner Directory and lead referral processes and to quickly publish high quality sales and product content. A background in the payments industry is highly preferable.
Responsibilities:
• Launch “Visa Direct Certified Partner” program: design and implement program to certify enablers as capable of providing Visa Direct services for merchants.
• Ready external sales teams to start selling Visa Direct effectively by providing product education and tools and implement a robust processes for referrals and lead tracking.
• Provide product education, training and sales tools to support partner sales teams to sell Visa Direct and real-time push payments to their clients.
• Manage end-to-end lead generation process with Enablement Partners to manage lead referrals and to support strategic pilot programs. Define and deploy the process for Visa Sales teams to qualify and send referrals and support deal matchmaking.
• Manage Visa Direct Certified website experience to engage, educate, and motivate B2B audiences to adopt a Visa Direct real-time payment solution. Drive solution content, industry case studies and actively manage the Partner solution directory for lead referrals to partners. Ensure Visa Direct vertical push payments solutions packaged and positioned effectively on the website.
• Launch Enabler Sales Tools and Training program. Provide product education, training and sales tools to support Partner sales teams to sell Visa Direct and real-time push payments to their clients. Create White-Label sales materials and toolkits for external sales teams.
• Implement Enabler Sales support model: Provide industry insights, market sizing and research to help enablers develop sales plans. Implement monthly sales pipeline reviews with enablers to track progress, plans, forecast, risks/issues. Formalize communication and deal support processes.
• Deploy VD client optimization model: Engage clients with performance analysis, insights, UX/marketing best practice to maximize conversion. Coordinate troubleshooting, use case expansion plans.
• Develop deep expertise in the Visa Direct Technology Stack, Visa’s Digital Assets/Capabilities and our Processing and Acquiring partner ecosystem
• Know the sales funnel inside and out: track the way clients interact with our product, and make it easier for clients to find partners to launch successful Merchant Programs; ongoing assessments of our internal or inbound sales funnel and optimize it as needed.
Qualifications

• Has 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations or project management
• Has extensive experience working in Financial Services or Payments
• Has experience in a startup or technology company.
• Project management skills to initiate and drive efforts to completion, working with a wide variety of roles across the company
• Work closely with product, design, PR, engineering, sales and partnerships to develop and execute commercialization plans; develop product deployment and Visa Direct materials.
• Packaging Visa Direct to both Merchants and Acquirers/Processors teams in product, finance, accounting, etc; help translate technical content to a variety of audiences and verticals.
• Help plan and execute use case launches in North America, coordinating with our Marketing and Sales operations teams.
• You feel comfortable communicating with customers and partners. You’re able to explain complex issues in clear, non-technical language.
• You have successfully led growth efforts. You know how to segment a market and prioritize appropriately.
• You love the details. To scale a great product means you care about every nuance of the experience and product packaging.
• You love having data to back up an argument. You’re a strong believer in knowing the numbers and what they mean. You are highly analytical.
