The Healthcare Practice provides management services for a range of healthcare-related design, construction and building activities for healthcare institutions, corporations, governmental and professional firms. We are currently seeking to fill a Vice President level position to join our Healthcare Practice to assume Business Development responsibilities first and foremost as well as provide Executive Oversight and Project Management when necessary.
Position Summary:
• Business Development: Contribute to the growth of Healthcare Practice in New York Tri State region within the firm.
• Deliver senior level project management supervision over assigned JLL client projects
• Provide superior client service and employee management
• Enhance own professional and personal skills
• Meet assigned financial targets
Essential Functions:
• Network with the local market through industry events and other public forums to engage the HC industry and advance the JLL Brand.
• Develop a BD process utilizing existing personnel to uncover and pursue new opportunities.
• Set revenue goals, quarterly, annually etc.
• Lead the sourcing and securing of new business and projects within local markets.
• Build and carry out marketing and development initiatives to gain new business and best deliver results to existing and potential clients.
• Represent JLL brand: Manage projects in a manner which will attain a high level of client satisfaction while maintaining a level of profitability suitable to JLL standards.
• Interact and effectively sell JLL PDS services to potential clients as well as local A&E and Construction firms at all levels.
• Maintain client relationships and manage conflict resolution.
• Assist in the assembly and management of required teams of consultants and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts with Market leads for variable resources when required.
• Interface with architects, client staff, property managers and vendors.
• Develop relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors and evaluate their performance.
• Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors and omissions, etc.) to Management Committee and Regional Manager.
• Assist Management Committee and Regional Manager in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards of excellence.
• Assist in training and developing JLL team members in the skills and understanding of client and firm procedures, governance, and practices expected for a successful project implementation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of PDS and client technology as required for assigned projects.
• Assist Local PDS Team in meeting AGM numbers on a Regional and National level as determined on a yearly basis by the Management Executive Committee.
• Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of 10 -15 years of experience in Healthcare Project Management and Business Development.
• Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients
• A strong working knowledge of Healthcare practice in NYC.
• Ability to lead individuals across a national platform to deliver superior results in client service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional manner and computer literacy
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills
• Skill and interest in business development a strong plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software
