Description
Dedicated Project Manager needed for the Retrospective Claim Accuracy (RCA) Engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Process Management
• Guide projects through defined development lifecycle, from project initiation to deployment, ensuring all critical path checkpoints are covered. Create goals and milestones to ensure commitments are achieved. Prepare detailed project management plans. Create and manage project budgets and schedules; manage scope / communicate changes. Interface with other groups to expedite and facilitate projects, including frequent touch-points with the Business, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure teams, Quality Assurance, Change Management and other technical resources.
• Manage multiple projects at one time through the SDLC, maintaining project schedule and timely movement through governance checkpoints. Track project velocity / health and report on project progress to plan at regular intervals. Expertise with Project Management tools / software.
• Proactively follow escalation and change control processes and communicate project impacts to project sponsors, owners and business stakeholders. Identify and act upon all issues impacting deliverables and schedules. Define project scope by working closely with the customer to identify, clearly articulate and prioritize requirements. Complete or oversee the completion of all relevant project supporting documentation as identified in the SDLC. Coordinate stakeholder update meetings and create product community forums. Manage 3rd Party vendors on integration / outsourced projects.
Solution Development
• Maximize the Solution Development team’s impact on the company’s bottom line. Act as a single point of contact for stakeholders on solution development projects that help drive Cotiviti’s continued success and growth. Manage the delivery of multiple, simultaneous, complex product development initiatives. Ensure high quality work with the most efficient use of company resources. Partner with business operations to ensure smooth adoption and to provide training.
Experience Requirements:
• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 plus years of project management responsibilities.
• Project Management Certification strongly preferred (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2); Scrum Master or Six Sigma certifications a plus.
• Expertise in Software Development Lifecycles (waterfall / agile).
• Solid understanding and conceptual interworking knowledge of relational databases, SQL Server preferred. Extensive experience working with business operations functions, from end user to executive levels and from gathering business requirements to providing system training.
• Proven ability to capture detailed business requirements, effectively communicate business needs and ensure development of solutions that meet the need. Successful track record of on- time delivery of high quality and on-point solutions.
• Experience managing projects with internal, 3rd party and offshore teams. Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with diverse functional and hierarchical groups, including clients, peers, technical staff, management, and vendors and effectively drive consensus.
• Excellent Analytical skills and ability to abstract complex business processes into clear and concise representations.
• Some training / exposure to system architecture and design principles.
• Experience managing teams of software developers both onshore and offshore.
• Experience with Healthcare preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
