D&B is building out our Application Development capabilities. We are seeking a System Administrator that will work Accounting and IT teams to support delivery and on-going maintenance of revenue accounting software across all lines of business side by side with business stakeholders to support on applications to better to serve our business needs
The Revenue Recognition System Administrator will:
• Work with business users to define requirements and use cases that support the implementation and on-going maintenance of the revenue accounting solution.
• Define the approach for validating the results of the revenue accounting solution as part of the implementation and as part of on-going support.
• Monitor and Control of support tickets with software vendors.
• Have a collaborative approach to problem solving and a drive for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a focus on information
• Understanding of system implementation concepts as they relate to financial systems including revenue sub-ledger (e.g., Rev Pro, Oracle Accounting Hub), GL, or planning and forecasting solutions Strong analytical skills and knowledge of how to perform analysis using complex data sets
• Understanding complex data structures and proficient in the use of SQL
• Strong problem management skills, including the ability to identify and asses the risks and determine the corrective actions. Strong ‘Can-do’ attitude and willingness to be challenged and learn new skills and technologies.
