Responsibilities:
• Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Hold all Housekeeping Team Members accountable to uniform standards.
• Ensure all Housekeeping Team Members are following standards of conduct.
• Ensure all Housekeeping Team Members are following all safety standards and key card security standards.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with training, coaching, and developing the housekeeping staff.
• Act as coordinator between all departments to ensure rooms are prepared for arrivals and site visits.
• Assist with inventory and purchasing process to ensure adequate replacement of supplies.
• Participate in daily operations including cleaning when needed.
• To prepare Room Attendants assignment sheets daily before their arrival.
• To prepare Houseman checklists daily before their arrival.
• Inspect guest sleeping rooms and guest common areas for cleanliness and to be sure all standards are met.
• Report any maintenance issues encountered throughout the day.
• Assist Housekeeping Manager as instructed.
• Consistently showing a positive attitude to Room Attendants and Houseman and provide coaching when needed.
• Prepare end of day paperwork.
Although these responsibilities are a primary part of my job, they do not constitute all of the duties I will be expected to perform while employed at the HOLIDAY INN WORLD’S FAIR PARK. Because unforeseen circumstances may arise, I may be reassigned to other tasks. The General Manager has the ability to change my daily assignments as may become necessary.
