Elavon is currently seeking a Marketing Database Analyst for our North America division. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing operations and analysis project work, and will benefit from an understanding of the payments marketplace. Excellent verbal and written communication and skills are mandatory, with strong project management experience.
The Marketing Database Analyst will work under the direction of the Marketing Operations Lead for NA, and support the delivery of campaigns focused on lead generation and prospect and customer engagement. He/she is expected to be a team player who will drive maturity in segmentation analysis for more targeted marketing programs that will contribute to Elavon’s revenue goals, including:
• Marketing Operations Execution:
◦ Develop a segmentation based framework in order to optimize targeting for lead generation, customer engagement or activation campaigns.
◦ Help the organization drive revenue and improve attrition rates using data driven analysis, insights and recommendations in the development of targeted campaigns for execution in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
◦ Support the development and execution of lead scoring models in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and provide comprehensive tracking of all key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness.
◦ Track and report on effectiveness and performance of all lead gen and engagement activities. Graphical presentation of insights and associated recommendations to internal and external customers through dashboard development and graphical visualization.
• Teamwork and Business Partnerships:
◦ Collaborate with product, channel and/or field marketing, business development and other stakeholder teams to deliver segmented data sets in support of campaign requirements.
◦ Ability to work closely with internal customers to understand their needs, putting together supporting data strategies and recommending actions to drive change.
◦ Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying timeframes is essential.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• High degree of familiarity working with marketing automation systems, email programs and CRMs; SalesForce.com Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) and Lattice strongly preferred.
• An analytical, data-driven mindset, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data (proven experience with A/B testing, analyzing email deliverability/open/click metrics, use of analytics tools, etc).
• 3-5 years experience in analytics role working with data and utilizing quantitative techniques to solve marketing or business problems, such as campaign analysis, program optimization, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling
• Advanced segmentation experience that will uncover unique segments of customers for various initiatives
• Optimization experience that can be leveraged for pricing initiatives, sales optimization, and marketing mix
• Data acquisition and analysis, including experience manipulating large data sets with various toolsets
• Familiarity with customer lifecycle management a plus
• Bachelor's degree.
• Familiarity with banking/financial institution/payments industry a plus
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
