Job Description
• ITIL and ITDB adaption
• Bug Fix, tech refresh
• Lead all areas of IT Service management and operations including Incident, Change, Release and Problem management
• Owner of overall ITDB to build, monitor, update and control
• Develop and ensure enterprise wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested
• Identify, report and manage incidents and changes tied to any application
• Lead Technology refresh initiatives, including patching and system upgrades across consumer and digital platforms.
• Maintain a current understanding the ITSM for the industry
• Own application bug-fixes from prioritization, development and release
• Oversee entire Service Delivery and IT Operations management
• Ensure IT policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced
• Manage all teams, employees, contractors and vendors involved in IT Service Delivery, which may include hiring
• Provide training and mentoring to Service Delivery team members
• Constantly update the IT support strategy to leverage new technology and automation
• Brief the executive team on incident status, including taking the role of champion for the overall application and IT Operations support strategy and necessary budget
Qualifications
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT field with 7 in IT leadership position, out of which 5 years in banking / financial sector
• The ability to manage all areas of IT Service Management on different IT architectures, and then communicate metrics to other executives on any risk and corrective actions.
• The ability to work with various IT teams and cross functional teams.
• Problem management to ensure corrective actions are implemented so incident can be prevented in the future.
• IT Service Management (ITSM) expertise.
• Communication and presentation, to be both the subject matter expert and advocate for ITSM in the executive suite.
• Process and policies development and administration.
• DR and application support planning and strategic management.
• Leadership, collaboration and conflict resolution.
• Supervisory and management.
