We are in search of a successful Supervisor for Treasury Services. As a valued member of the OneAmerica team, your main responsibilities will be to lead the Treasury Operations team which includes deposit and disbursement functions for the enterprise. Responsibilities include staffing and staff development, managing operational risk, and service level achievement. This position is held accountable for the achievement of operational metrics, continuous improvement of the functions, and customer satisfaction. The position has frequent interaction with internal customers, auditors, and financial institutions. Expectations include staying current on best practices related to Treasury Operations, incorporating the practices into the business plans of the functions when appropriate, and serving on project teams dedicated to keeping Treasury or other business processes and systems up-to-date and meeting customer needs.
On a day-to-day basis, your daily responsibilities include:
•Being accountable for coaching, developing and maintaining a well-trained staff.
•Being accountable for the achievement of operational metrics related to service levels, productivity, and quality. Responsible for maintaining sound financial controls.
•Identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to processes that result in improved service levels, customer experience, greater efficiencies, reduced expenses and/or strengthened controls.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred. College degree and relevant experience will also be considered. •Experience required in addition to above education: Treasury management, banking or accounting experience, operations management experience, and process improvement experience. This position requires a person with strong communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, excellent analytical skills, demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work independently, orientation to continuous process improvement, and problem solving skills. •This position regularly requires the employee to evaluate possible courses of conduct and make independent decisions or recommendations. This may include the following: *Making decisions regarding the daily processing of Treasury deposits and disbursements *Making recommendations regarding services, staffing, and process improvement *Interpreting operating practices and policies *Anticipating and solving problems
