Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Expense Report Specialist plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s A/P functions. The role is primarily responsible, under direct to general supervision, for administering the Concur Expense and Invoice systems, performing expense report and credit card reconciliations, and providing summary reporting on the expense reimbursement program.
Essential Functions
• Set up new user accounts in the Concur Expense and Invoice systems.
• Manage employee changes in Concur, including terminations, manager changes, and department transfers.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions, including recording to the GL and following up with noncompliant credit card holders.
• Administer corporate credit card requests and reporting.
• Perform GL account reconciliations for out of pocket and corporate credit card transactions.
• Perform review of employee expense reimbursement requests ensuring compliance with expense reimbursement policy, resolving discrepancies and requesting additional information when required.
• Provide reporting to management on Concur usage, issues, and exceptions.
• Provide support to employees using Concur.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, with at least 3-4 years of experience in expense management, accounts payable, or accounting. Experience in performing reconciliations is required.
• Concur Expense experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Time management, organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills required, with the ability to handle tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills and ability to propose solutions to problems.
• High level of integrity and ethical behavior.
Supervision
• Travel: 0%
• General to intermittent supervision of work, depending on experience

Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
