Responsibilities
This role is an Engagement Lead for the Pega development team.
Manage a development track of work, leading a team comprise of a Business Analysts, System Architects, and a 5 person offshore team of developers.
Work with the Pega Principal Architect to ensure development and design best practices are adhered to.
Works with Solutions Architect in grooming and sizing of user stories.
Engages partner technology teams and business partners as needed to insure best overall design.
Builds trusted relationships with Product owners and business stakeholders as well as tech team and partners.
Provide development artifacts or any other deliverable required to support business and technology objectives.
Qualifications
Engagement Lead / Technical Project Manager role for the Pega development team includes the following job requirements:
10+ years related experience required managing large scale projects using Pegasystems PRPC software.
Candidate should have direct experience with PegaSystem PRPC software and Agile/Scrum methodology. Must demonstrate current knowledge of the Industry as well as product developments from Pegasystems
Experience in financial services industry - Commercial and Consumer Banking, Lending, Leasing preferred; with a strong understanding of the identifying project requirements and processes/procedures.
Experience managing cross functional teams (direct & matrixed) offshore and onshore resources.
Experience building high performing teams.
Proven track record of driving business outcomes through close business collaboration; driving end-to-end solution delivery (ideation through operational support).
Proven track record of driving thoughtful and right sized technology solutions, iterating over time to achieve a target state.
Experience applying continuous improvement mindset and methodologies to both processes implemented & underlying technology implementation.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to cultivate relationships, soft skills, and networking skills are required.
Ability to track multiple, large scale projects simultaneously.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast pace environment
Pegasystems certification in Business Analytics and/or Certified System Admin a plus.
PMP and Scrum certification a plus
25% Travel is expected.
