As a member of Santander’s retail banking division, you’ll help serve Santander’s retail and small business customers as part of one of the top banks in the United States based on deposits. With principal presence in the northeast U.S., Santander’s retail division offers consumer and lending products to help our customers reach their financial goals. Position Overview:
The Director of Marketing Insights & Technology is a senior management position responsible for maximizing sales productivity and customer profitability through customer insights analytics, system tools and identification and deployment of new marketing technologies. This position defines and implements the strategy and approach for sales & marketing tools across Consumer and Business Banking. In addition, this position serves as the lead for all marketing technology identification and deployment including roadmap, resource identification and business justification.
Responsibilities:
• CRM/ONE: development and ongoing enhancements of the core Banker sales/CRM tool (ONE), rationalization/integration of other front-end tools and future roadmap development.
• Marketing Technology: identify and promote new marketing technologies to aid in improved engagement, retention and improved customer experience. Responsibilities include business case development, deployment and measurement plan
• List Generation: manage group responsible for list generation for all customer marketing campaigns (direct mail, email, online, banker leads and ultimately mobile).
• Customer Insights: development of customer analysis and reporting, including customer satisfaction, complaints, customer dashboards, and marketing analysis.
• Operational CRM: management of the customer datamart and data processes supporting the front-end tools, leads, portfolios, and vendor data provisioning.
• Market research: management of budget, vendors, and end-to-end market research capabilities.
• Digital Analytics: implementation of tag management, digital data reporting, and supporting digital marketing technologies.
• Team management, including performance management, succession plans/career path and coaching.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
• 15+ years' experience directly related to core job functions
• Power user of MS Office tools, specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Solid product development and innovation experience including marketing campaign management and product positioning
• Able to structure analysis and specify data required to support the analysis
• Experienced in managing the extract, transform and load (ETL) activities to prepare data
• Ability to interact skillfully with executive management and a variety of business partners
• Fluency with current marketing technologies and deployment
• Experience with data management
• Ability to manage cross functional projects
• Excellent business acumen & industry knowledge
• Strong people management capabilities
• Strong strategic and tactical planning skills
