The Senior Director of Regional Accounts will be responsible for leading a team of Account Directors and Client Success Mangers focused on growing revenues and margins of their assigned portfolios within Experian Partner Solutions. The successful Senior Director will focus on creating, developing and executing an overall strategic relationship and strategy that will drive, penetrate and expand our products and services. Additionally, the Senior Director will be responsible for hiring, coaching, growing & development high performing team, and fostering team member engagement. The Senior Director will report directly to the VP of Experian Partner Solutions Account Development. The position is located within the US.
Senior Director of Regional Accounts Job Skills:
• Developing and executing both long term and short term winning strategies for the assigned Director teams that benefit both the client and Experian
• Ability to lead the teams to drive results by identifying specific profitable growth opportunities for expansions of existing products and services as well as focus on cross selling new products and services
• A strong focus on relationship entrenchment by building and leveraging relationships with particular focus on effective executive level-stacking between the client and Experian
• The ability to effectively communicate where difficult messages can effectively be relayed in order to garnish followership both internally and externally with internal key stakeholders and clients/customers
• Hiring the best talent as opening come up
• Coach, Training, and Develop assigned team
• Evaluate and enhance current onboarding proves for new hires
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Client Services, and Operations to ensure client success and identity areas for improvements and efficiencies.
• Participate in client QBR’s is assigned region.
• A keen sense of self-awareness and high degree of personal excellence
Senior Director of Regional Accounts Job Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Sales Leaders (3 Directors) and their assigned portfolios leveraging assigned (and unassigned) resources to drive growth and sales target
• Accountable to meet/exceed regional assigned revenue goals.
• Possess a strong strategic consultative selling and customer relationship management experience focusing on enterprise B2B2C sales
• Identify new partnership opportunities within targeted accounts to expand distribution of products
• Lead complex sales engagements and leverage technical expertise and real-life experience in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept and implementation strategies for target clients
• Develop a deep understanding of API and hosting solutions, as well as, knowledge of the features and functionality of the various products & benefits
• Interface with Finance, Product Development, Technology, Legal, and other related functions
• Effectively negotiate (and re-negotiate) deal terms with clients and ensure deal structures deliver financial returns consistent with Experian Partner Solutions internal hurdles
• Maintain knowledge and insight of competitors
• 10+ years of experience selling and managing B2B solutions
• Strong enterprise Financial Institution and software solutions with SaaS/High Tech industry experience
• Must be self-motivated, driven to succeed and ready to hit the ground running
• Have experience leading remote sales teams
• Subject matter expert on cross-sell marketing, regulatory requirements, product development and implementation techniques
• Demonstrable ability to work across a matrix organization and put strong problem solving, communication, leadership and influencing skills to work
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives, EVPs and SVPs within assigned client base
• Expert interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to present solutions via live presentations or remote webinars
• Keen organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• MBA is preferred
• Ability to travel +/- 30% of the time
