We are seeking a Director, Program Design & Evaluation to identify key opportunities to infuse new knowledge and research-based approaches to organizational inclusion across Prudential’s talent lifecycle. You will work closely with the Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Management Centers of Expertise to incorporate meaningful and effective inclusion content into Prudential’s learning, development, managerial effectiveness, mobility, performance management, and executive development offerings. You will also develop an evaluation model to improve and evolve these programs over time and to track impact and progress against the goals of Prudential’s Diversity & Inclusion Center of Expertise. As a subject matter expert on developing a “theory of change,” you will advise business resource groups and, as needed, business and corporate clients as we seek to ensure that every employee can share in an environment of collaboration, inclusion and belonging.
Reporting to the Vice President of Inclusion, Culture and Talent, and preferably based in Newark, New Jersey, you will have the following responsibilities:
• You will research and recommend evidence-based approaches to promoting organizational inclusion, and inclusive leadership
• You will provide guidance to and collaborate with subject matter experts in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and development programs across the company
• You will serve as a strategic partner to other Human Resources and business teams to review, assess and modify existing programs
• You will develop a model to track progress and measure the impact of the diversity and inclusion strategy
• You will supervise and coordinate diversity and inclusion program, policy, and research efforts
• You will advise Business Resource Groups and relevant leaders/stakeholders to focus efforts for impact and ensure alignment with both the diversity and inclusion strategy and business imperatives
• You will monitor and summarize progress of project according to deadlines and within budget
• You will prepare case studies on relevant topics, obstacles and success stories for internal and external audiences
• You will maintain awareness of global issues and trends in diversity and inclusion and use emerging information to educate leaders and associates
• You will have a deep knowledge of and experience in one or more of the following areas: program design, implementation and evaluation; curriculum development; learning and development; behavior change campaign design; racial and gender equity initiatives; and/or unconscious bias research and programs
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 8 years corporate professional experience; strategy, consulting and/or project management experience desired
• Experience working cross-functionally and developing relationships at all levels of the organization and across multiple locations
• Design plan, choose stakeholders and engage SMEs
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate new programs or approaches
• Earn credibility and create buy-in among leaders, managers and employees
• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and translate strategy to practical solutions
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Skilled at simultaneously managing multiple priorities and projects
• Ability to convene and develop cross-sector and multi-disciplinary workgroups
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting across multiple disciplines and with diverse stakeholders
• Willing and able to facilitate and initiate candid, productive conversations on a variety of topics including race, gender, sexual orientation, ability and identity
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
