Summary:
Responsible for all Financial Control Unit’s activities, including Managerial Accounting, Performance Monitoring / Evaluation, and Budget Control of BK Offices and Subsidiaries in Americas, BHC, and BKUSA
Responsibilities:
Managerial Accounting
• Identify, measure, analyze, interpret and communicate business information for assisting management to make decisions and to formulate/implement business strategy
• Build business plan based on management’s strategy and devise performance management system
• Prepare reports related to managerial accounting for all management in Americas in a timely manner
Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
• Prepare performance monitoring report periodically and report to all management in Americas
• Conduct performance evaluation based on rules of Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Financial Group
Expense Control Function
• Manage and approve all general expenses, personnel expenses by daily and/or monthly
• Coordinate additional and transfer budget requests with all department budget representative
• Prepare the budget application and budget report to Head Office and all management in Americas
Fixed Asset Control Function
• Prepare asset acquisition/disposal report and submit to Head Office
• Review investment applications and control investment budget
• Reconcile all fixed asset account between G-Base and PeopleSoft by monthly or quarterly
Cost Allocation Function
• Prepare the cost allocation target and projection by each unit
• Prepare and review the monthly cost allocation reports, utilizing the expenses result data for all entities in Americas
• Conduct cost allocation between entities in Mizuho
Policy
• Initiate and review policies and procedures of FCU
Others Function
• Assist unit members and unit head
Qualifications:
• Effective communication skills: oral, writing, listening and presentation
• College graduate plus 5+ years of work experience at financial institutions
• Advanced PC skills (esp. Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
• Advanced finance and accounting knowledge
