Our Investment Operations group has approximately 800 associates globally, supporting core components of our investment offerings and growth of the business. We work with optimized, durable, and scalable processes designed to achieve our company’s long-term objectives. Our Global Securities Operations team manages trade processing and settlements, asset setup, valuation, and corporate actions.
As a Global Securities Operations Manager based in Norfolk, VA, you will manage a team of 5 associates, who are focused on trade processing and settlements. Our team is responsible for post-trade activities such as trade/fixed income processing, fail management, currency decision, and claims. We also provide oversight of collateral management which includes the monitoring of counterparty exposure, collateral inventory levels, and local currency balances. We serve as an escalation resource for collateral managers, counterparties, and custodians. Our key stakeholders include Trading, Brokers, Custodians, Legal, Global Investment Control and Global Fund Accounting.

Your Responsibilities:
• Define strategic direction and lead department initiatives with focus on continuous improvement and future business needs
• Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external parties
• Select, develop, and maintain an effective team
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field
• 2+ years directly managing others
• A passion to innovate, drive change, and effectively manage projects
• Willingness to take risks and challenge the status quo
• Ability to achieve results and lead teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• A desire to continuously learn, with the ability to self-assess and continuously evolve
