A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…
• Respond to phone calls and emails from vendors, clients, and third parties in a timely consistent manner
• Support daily interaction with vendors, clients, and third parties while maintaining close relationships to ensure the success of the business
• Complete client and vendor tasks
• Review loan histories and open violation task reports
• Research code violations, servicing neglect issues and fines/assessments
• Deal with a variety of clients and investor types for properties that are in a pre or post foreclosure, delinquent loan status
• Review loan history from appropriate servicing platforms
• Research all code violations and work with agent or necessary jurisdiction to bring property to code compliance
• Review, research, and respond to email correspondence as appropriate
• Make and receive calls to/from vendors, clients, and third parties as needed
• Work with team leadership to execute process improvements
• Review violations portfolio and follow up on all related tasks
• Work with investor and client representatives in assisting in the resolution of outstanding code violations
• Research and analyze servicing neglect issues to determine an appropriate course for resolution
• Provide timely reviews of each file affected by a code violation and notate appropriate servicing platform
• Document all systems accordingly
• Research fines/assessments to date for each file when necessary
• Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications

• The ability to work in various proprietary databases doing loan level reviews and entering/updating data
• The ability to communicate at all levels, and with clients/vendors; are well spoken and have polished written communication skills
• The ability to resolve violations issues
• The ability to multitask
• The ability to work as an individual as well as a team member
• The ability to adapt to constant change with vendors/clients
• Adequate computer skills required, uploading and saving documents, sending/receiving emails and to learn new computer systems applications quickly
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous office and computer experience
• Strong PC and Internet navigation skills
• Intermediate typing and Microsoft Office proficiency skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Basic knowledge of mortgage terms
• Previous experience with property management, construction and property insurance a plus
• Mortgage servicing and default servicing knowledge and/or experience preferred
• Basic understanding of local laws and ordinances regarding property is ideal
• Necessary special training includes client guidelines, and business rules, user review guide, classroom training system and side by side training
