Overview
The First Republic Digital Marketing team manages the strategy and execution of capabilities, promotions, communications, advertising and engagement efforts in the digital and social space.
The Website Content Marketing Manager owns and drives strategies, initiatives functions that deliver messaging and experiences via First Republic’s public-facing digital assets, particularly FirstRepublic.com. This position will have primary responsibility for the success and integrity of our branded public site, and the development of capabilities and analytics that enable us to evolve and optimize the platform.

Responsibilities:
• Work with our marketing creative, technology and business partners to implement new research and usability efforts, and leverage insights to evolve the public site strategy.
• Drive, lead and support efforts to optimize the platform and implement key strategies around personalization, content and user experience optimization, client journey support and brand experience.
• Manage our sprint release deployments in partnership with Digital Technologies and Quality Assurance. Represent Marketing in stakeholder meetings and release conference calls. Support production check-outs to ensure deployments meet requirements. Some evening and weekend work is involved.
• Ensure that our new and existing digital content is brand, accessibility and policy compliant.
• Manage the production queue of digital content and asset requests for the public site.
Lead the development of new public site experiences and the sunsetting of older experiences.
• Work with the Brand Strategy Operations Marketing Manager to develop training and engagement criteria for platform access levels, and ensure all users receive proper training and support.
• Liaise with Digital Technology and outside vendors (implementation partner and Sitecore) to ensure that we are leveraging the latest capabilities and best practices for content development and management.
• In partnership with the Brand Strategy Operations Marketing Manager, leverage reporting from our web governance vendor, Siteimprove, to identify, prioritize and remediate any CMS platform, accessibility and content issues.
• Manage the content and design components to consolidate public digital properties onto Sitecore, our current content management system.
• Ensure that all digital properties public-facing assets have the needed level of security and access, and that they are included in the Siteimprove web governance vendor review scope.
• Provide input into CMS reporting and research to inform site improvement efforts and strategies, such as content rendering, responsive design improvements, and customer experience enhancements across devices and browsers.
• Combine qualitative and quantitative research and observations to tell the Digital Marketing value story, specific to the public site and related assets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including Marketing, Business, Technology, or Communications.
• At least 7 years of business experience and 5+ years of experience with or in a Digital Marketing function or team.
• Experience implementing and/or managing a content management solution in a medium to large enterprise, preferably including a personalization and/or dynamic content strategy.
• Strong understanding of marketing communications, campaign development and implementation processes.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Ability to articulate an issue or opportunity in both quantitative and qualitative terms, and develop & deliver powerful, articulate communications, both verbally and in written form, that resonates with a variety of audiences.
• Successful track record of leading and implementing digital deployment or design efforts.
• Understanding of key performance indicators and dashboard reporting specific to digital property management and performance measurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expertise with applying personalization through Sitecore.
• Information architecture, web design training or digital interaction model expertise.
• Exposure to online/digital accessibility or web governance.
• Strong client-focus. User-centered design/design thinking/training and experience.
• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industry.
• Experience with a client-focused luxury brand.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
• Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
• Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
• Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
• Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
• Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
