Responsibilities
The Treasury Management Product Manager will be responsible for all aspects of their assigned product or sets of products. This role involves being a key driver for the future landscape/expansion or reconfiguration of the product(s) to ensure value to our Commercial Clients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing product management leadership and expertise while partnering with other teams within the bank. You will utilize your leadership, product management, strategy, analysis, competitive research, creativity and collaboration skills to effectively work with all teams that your product effects. You will drive forward product vison and strategy, and articulate this strategy to various levels within the organization.
• Be an expert on your product(s) and thoroughly understand the competitive landscape, past, present and future and bring forward that understanding to make specific product recommendations
• Understand the statistics surrounding your product, numbers and dollar volume, type of client usage/industry verticals and identify opportunities and gaps
• Assist in contract negotiations, vendor analysis, SLA tracking and RFP’s
• Ensure that all support/sales groups are adhering to the most up to date regulatory requirements
• Understand all applicable laws and regulations as they apply to the product. Participate in Risk assessments and external regulatory audits.
• Own product training as both a SME and trainer. Ensure that all appropriate areas have the most up to date training and product and procedure documents
• Drive strategic business and customer analysis to identify areas of opportunity and use the results to resolve problems and improve the customer experience
• Work closely with Cash Management Product Specialists, bankers and clients to ensure the product(s) are meeting client needs
• Deep knowledge of and experience with Treasury Management Receivables products. Specific knowledge of Remote Deposit Capture, Image Cash Letter, Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment and Integrated Receivables required
Qualifications
• 5+ years Treasury Management Product experience with a large Financial Institution
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills, ability to present at all management levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven industry leadership skills
• Driven, Focused, results oriented and able to work independently
• The ability to manage multiple products at one time
• This job is located in San Francisco
• 4 Year degree in business, engineering , data science or applicable field
• CTP preferred but not required
• MBA preferred but not required
• Some Project Management experience preferred but not required
Mental/Physical Requirements:
• The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
• Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
• Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
• Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
• Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
• Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
