The Digital Analyst will be responsible for driving impactful reporting and insights to various teams throughout the organization. This will be accomplished through meaningful reports and dashboards, ad hoc and deep dive analysis. An ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, and passionate about analytics and committed to improving the visitor experience of our digital products.
Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be able to partner and build successful and strong relationships with the digital teams across the organization to find game changing insights through analysis
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and conduct analysis that drives meaningful change on KPIs and critical objectives
• Monitor performance KPIs for changes in trends, share insights and make recommendations
• Bring consistency to online reporting. Create informative dashboards and recurring reports, adjusting to meet ever-changing business needs. Continually monitor and look for ways to improve and streamline reporting, including automation
• Present analysis and insights to key decision makers through storytelling and visualizations
• Work closely with the a/b testing team to support the experimentation program through analysis and reporting of a/b testing and optimization initiatives
• Support testing strategy and digital optimization roadmaps of tests including building and calibration of experiments
• Analyze web-site behavior and performance metrics to develop user experience optimization efforts
Qualifications
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to analyze and make sense of data, turn insights into conclusions and create actionable strategic recommendations
• High proficiency in SQL and ability to synthesize large amounts of data
• Strong web and digital campaign analysis skills and experience
• Experience in web analytics, including Adobe Analytics Suite a plus
• You can develop a reliable (error-free) analytics report or dashboard that tells a clear, definitive story
• Be adept at managing competing priorities through planned and ad-hoc requests.
• Self-starter with an ability to work independently and proactively while continuously communicating to other team members about items that will impact initiatives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency presenting analysis and insights to key decision makers
• Demonstrated ability to work extremely well with cross-functional teams; independently and proactively (e.g., marketing, UX, product).
• Must be results oriented and able to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment and can execute plans and initiatives with sense of urgency.
• Experience using digital analytics products is a must with Adobe Analytics and Target being preferred.
• 4-6 years working in digital analytics specifically around supporting teams with reporting and dashboard
• 2-3 years’ experience with a/b testing and optimization practices
• Strong project and consulting skills
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens.
• Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person.
• Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions.
• Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
• Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
