What does a great Financial Analyst do?
Fiserv is seeking a self-motivated finance associate to join the Finance organization. In this highly visible Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role this individual will be responsible for preparing financial and business related analysis in a fast paced and dynamic finance organization supporting multiple business units and products. Success in this position requires an ability to effectively identify and present actionable insights on key performance indicators in the business through accurate and transparent financial reporting. Additionally, this individual will foster strong working relationships with peers and executives in the company to cooperatively achieve strategic objectives.
We’ll help you: <OPTIONAL>:
As a Financial Analyst you can look forward to:
• Assist in the timely preparation and review of monthly financial results including variance analysis and business review presentations.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of reported and forecasted financial results.
• Analyze risks and opportunities and develop key business metrics to drive margin growth.
• Assist in the preparation of the Annual Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and the Annual Budget.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses of varying complexity to appropriate for all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prepare business cases as needed to support continued growth in the assigned business unit.
• Create hypotheses and analyses to identify and recommend business process improvements that result in streamlined processes.
• Work across business units to assess and develop best practices.
• Travel as required, expected to average less than 5%.

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and GAAP.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 1 relevant finance or accounting internship.
• Power user of Microsoft Excel as well as proficiency in other Microsoft Office Applications.
• SAP Business Warehouse experience preferred.
