East Campus Realty, LLC is looking for a Marketing Intern to join the Midtown Crossing marketing team and start immediately. Working hours will include both regular business hours and some nights/weekends, as it pertains to events.
This position is working up to 20 hours/week during fall 2018 and spring 2019, with potential for extension.
Contributes to the efficient and effective achievement of Midtown Crossing marketing and events, by collaborating with the marketing team to plan and execute events, and develop content for web, eblasts and social. This intern will act as an ambassador of Midtown Crossing through interactions with partners at events, online and in the community.
Essential Job Functions:
• Serves as a public ambassador for the company at events, online and in community.
• Assists with planning and execution of Turner Park events.
• Develops content for Midtown Crossing website/blog, eblasts and social media.
• Observes the business operation and becomes familiar with the business and its environment.
• Engages in effective and efficient work processes to contribute to the achievement of Company business objectives.
• Assists with projects and completes routine work assignments as directed by management.
• Interacts with internal and external business customers.
• Assists in data collection, maintenance, and analysis activities including updating database information, verifying data accuracy, and compiling reports.
• This position will require you to work in outdoor conditions.
• This position may require constant standing or walking for extended periods of time.
• This position requires you to lift, move, or carry heavy objects.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of and ability to use various business software applications on a personal computer including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Skills in oral and written communication, human relations, creativity.
• Ability to analyze material and exercise judgement, be flexible.
• Effective customer service skills; ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
• Previous experience (regular employment, internship, or university club/group) in promoting and/or planning events and creating marketing content.
