Team Leader - Retirement Services
Edward Jones seeks an enthusiastic and highly-motivated individual to fill a Team Leader position within Retirement Services responsible for Rollovers & Transfers. The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of highly skilled associates dedicated to delivering an ideal client experience and meeting the individual needs of the branch.
• Responsible for the daily management and performance of a team
• Ensure that phone calls and service requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner
• Contribute to the relationships with critical stakeholders and peers across the department and division
• Responsibilities include scheduling and allocating resources, developing associates through coaching and mentoring, and communicating and managing department and division objectives
• Develop and deliver processes to increase team and department efficiency and effectiveness
• Help to organize and lead the planning and execution of the department business plan and corresponding goals and objectives
• Quickly determine the extent of a problem or concern and if required, effectively communicate directly with the client, Financial Advisor, BOA, or third party to resolve it in a timely fashion
• Continually seeks opportunities to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills to improve the department
Position Requirements
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience is required; previous leadership experience in a call center is preferred
• Series 7 and 66 required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Strong coaching and development skills with the ability to continually engage and inspire a team
• Ability to set priorities and delegate effectively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate to various stakeholders
• Effectively diagnose problems and issues and apply appropriate solutions
• Strong time management and decision making capabilities
• Must be flexible and with the ability to quickly adapt in a fast paced dynamic environment
