The Account Executive will plan and execute sales activities to meet new business growth goals within a defined territory of current clients and targeted prospects in the Credit Services & Decision Analytics (CSDA) Specialized Market Team with a focus on Collections. This position entails:
• Proactively and regularly initiating client-facing sales efforts in order to effectively understand client needs, consult with clients to construct solutions to meet those needs, and close deals.
• Delivering quantifiable financial results through sales of Experian credit products and services
• Building and sustaining trusted advisor relationships with client executives in order to best position Experian’s value
• Maintaining ongoing contact with clients and developing an understanding of client environments and processes to identify existing and potential applications for Experian products and services.
• Supporting and coaching internal engagement teams to understand client business practices, policies, analytics, and technological systems while they devise and implement solutions to efficiently meet client needs
• Generating sufficient opportunity pipeline through structured account planning, utilizing Experian’s Siebel system to report on progress
• Developing professional proposals in conjunction with vertical marketing, product management, and the Experian Proposal Resource Center as required to pursue client opportunities
• Working with product marketing, contracts, compliance and product development teams as required to close and implement new opportunities
• Providing customer intelligence to sales and marketing functions to position our offerings more effectively
• Providing or coordinating product training as required to users to ensure effective client utilization of Experian services
• Monitoring client service to identify positive and negative customer satisfaction
• Developing accurate forecasts of revenue for your territory based on current business trends and expected new business opportunities.
This is a remote position based in Southern California preferably.
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
• Collections industry knowledge/experience preferred
• Proven strategic-level sales, and/or business development background.
• Strong account relationship and planning skills and a proven ability to drive results
• Demonstrated experience and comfort in developing and managing senior level client relationships
• Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; articulate and persuasive presence and speaking experience required
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with good knowledge of the trends and issues facing the financial services industry.
