Description
[POSITION SUMMARY] The Director of Risk Data Reporting role will lead planning and implementation of technology and operations projects to support business needs in relation to the RDA-RRF program and other Risk initiatives.This role requires the ability to manage one or more key initiatives, facilitating consensus among multiple teams (retail, corporate, IT, operations, third parties) and stakeholders, to ensure work can progress in a timely manner and delivers business results.It requires a strong understanding of Risk Management and Banking best practices in order to translate business needs into multi-disciplinary projects, and it comprises building a comprehensive U.S Risk Management infrastructure, consistent among the several units of the Group in the U.S. The initiatives underway in this respect are collected under the RDA-RRF project and this position includes managing the execution in their implementation.The incumbent will create and manage execution of management reports, detailed analysis, analytical reporting, address feasibility, and consult with stakeholders. [POSITION DUTIES] A2: The candidate will temper written and verbal communication based on target audiences from Executives to working team members.,B2: Develop, in coordination with USA units the USA RDA-RRD plan and execution approach, analyzing potential risks/benefits involved in technology and business needs,Define business requirements, solution design, project goals, project plan, testing and implementation.,Manage complex high visibility initiatives monitoring progress and participating in its governance. Structure work approach, drive clarity on scope, monitor key milestones, deliverables, and track execution.,Structure and drive multi-function and multi-discipline processes on projects, with limited guidance, to achieve results/core deliverables,Work with internal customers/partners to define, prioritize and propose business priorities and convert priorities into action plans and ultimately projects.,A1: The Director of Risk Data Reporting will synthesize and organize disparate and/or complex concepts and data sets into structures that can be used for both Executive and detail-level decision making.,B1: Facilitate cross-functional Working Sessions with managers and Senior Leaders. Work with Senior/Executive leaders and help resolve in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas.
Qualifications
[QUALIFICATION] Experience At least 7 years experience in the financial sector, preferably with experience in management consulting or similar work with exposure to the Finance and or Risk functions [EXPERIENCE] At least 7 years [SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE] Ability to work in a high pressure, demanding atmosphere with no supervision, and lead and work effectively within other team members across the bank.,Advanced knowledge of risk, best practices and infrastructure. Knowledge of complex data models and basic programming skills, (SQL, VBA etc.),Demonstrated success with project management.,Strong knowledge of MIS reporting structures,Understands Risk Management needs and can design new solutions based on detailed analysis
