Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)
Responsible for supporting multiple servicing teams and portfolios consisting of a variety of products for the Real Estate Capital Line of Business and Key Agency Services.
Primary servicing functions include support for non-owner occupied construction/interim loan servicing, lines of credit, portfolio/system/collateral administration, building and tracking document exceptions in Loan IQ, system of record, managing expiring UCCs and related client services. Provide excellent communication with the Service Officers, Closers and internal clients as well as lending staff and partners. Strength and experience also required for loan system processing, problem solving and data integrity.
Essential Job Functions:
• Responsibility for building collateral, guarantor and tickler data in REC loan system Loan IQ
• Generate reports, review and distribute as appropriate
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment
• Provides backup for all aspects of servicing for team members.
• Clearly and immediately communicates problems/issues to Manager and/or RM
• Monitoring incoming New Loan, Modification and Document Management Requests, including timely maintaining of the documentation/loan status log
• Responsible for tracking the receipt of required legal documents from loan closings and modifications
• Entering doc tracking and clearing Document Exceptions from the system of record.
• Prepare documents for bar code scanning and submission to the document vault
• Responsible for loading and updating information and continued monitoring regarding UCC’s in LoanIQ to maintain KeyBank’s lien position.
• Provide assistance and expert guidance to RM/PM, Closer and Servicing Officers in post-closing follow-up for missing or incomplete legal documents.
• Provide support and assistance with departmental projects as needed
Required Qualifications: (License, Certificates, Education, Skills, etc.)
• 2-year College Degree or equivalent real estate business experience
• Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and collateral
• Strong solution-oriented and problem solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment
• Knowledge of Commercial Loan Systems and Deposit Systems
• PC proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of loan systems (preferably Loan IQ) and deposit systems
• Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and collateral
• Background in document management, commercial loan closing or underwriting
Equipment Used:
• Personal Computer, Fax Machine, Copier, Telephone, Calculator
Training Provided:
• Bank systems and processes
