The person will play a key role in supporting our B2B strategy development and execution, providing ongoing assistance to the day-to-day responsibilities of the Trade Finance team in the US, directly contributing to Trade Finance Solutions growth.
The person will work with the established global sales and business development teams to grow USD denominated Trade Finance solutions. The person will support the design of a sales methodology and processes to sell the joint offering of traditional T&E products & Trade Finance solutions to existing & potential new customers. The person will be responsible for creating and updating presentations for internal and external stakeholders as well as researching and identifying suitable prospects in line with the business plan.

Key responsibilities
• Support the ongoing product Trade Finance operations in the region, including Implementation, Sales, Prospect Development and Marketing work streams
• Evaluate opportunity base via primary and secondary research to help define product roadmap and own the research program
• Help acquire new multinational corporations with primary focus on Shipping, Logistics and Consumer Electronics
• Communicate and coordinate with risk management/credit divisions
• Prepare presentations, term sheets to be presented to the customer
• Deal with amendments, credit and product reviews
• Help to assemble & develop presentations for senior leadership and key external stakeholders
• Manage reporting, forecasting and analytics; communicate recommendations based on data
Qualifications
Soft Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• A strong communicator with a clear and concise presentation style, who can convey information in a manner that is readily accessible and understandable to all.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in sales and leadership.
• Strong customer focus; the ability to view issues from a customer lens and prioritize initiatives based on customer needs and impact
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment whilst maintaining high standards of personal excellence and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Strong networking skills
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Familiarity with the B2B payments space
• Understanding of macroeconomic and competitive trends and how these may impact our product economics and value drivers
• Experience in qualifying buyers and sellers, conducting comprehensive financial history inquiries, performing risk tolerances, conducting market research, etc.
• Experience gathering and analyzing company and market financial data, deciphering and presenting recommendations to stakeholders and decision makers
• Strong customer focus; the ability to view issues from a customer lens and prioritize initiatives based on customer needs and impact
• Proven self-starter and comfortable working in a global team with multi-regional leadership
• Expert in MS PowerPoint and able to use MS Word & Excel

• Experience with global banking lending conditions and defaulting practices
