POSITION SUMMARY
The Compensation Analyst supports companywide compensation functions. The analyst assists in the design, plan, and implementation of corporate compensation programs, policies, and procedures to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. Through audits and reports, the analyst assists in ensuring that compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with the ongoing administration of compensation programs and practices.
• Participate in the development and delivery of annual budget, merit and bonus guidelines and manager reference materials during the annual year-end pay planning process.
• Assist with developing salary structures.
• Provide market analysis on an annual and ad-hoc basis.
• Develop job codes and descriptions for new and revised positions.
• Review exemption status and ensure jobs are compliant with FLSA standards.
• Conduct detailed analysis and audits to support department needs.
• Provide market intelligence to support reviews and recommendations for salary actions.
• Assist with standardization and documentation of compensation policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ years of experience within a Compensation role.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Expert in Microsoft Office suite including: Excel, Power Point, Word and SharePoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Extremely organized with excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of Payroll, and/or HR systems a plus.
• ADP Vantage experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field preferred.
• Some human resources and/or mortgage industry experience preferred.
