Business Overview:
The Employee Data Management team is a part of the HR Shared Services Operations team.
EDM team’s main responsibilities fall under:
Data Governance
• Ensures strict respect of Data Governance Principles across all HR IT systems and databases
• Supports internal and external data auditing, on a regular and ad hoc basis
• Control data quality of information within HR IT systems
Data Management, Administration and Maintenance
• Processes/Validates data change requests
• Maintains databased consistency
Reporting
• Prepares and delivers HR data related reports/dashboards to multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities:
• Develop and publish reports and dashboards according to stakeholders requirements:
• Responsible for managing and creating standard queries/reporting in PeopleSoft
• Lead and manage development, automation and publishing of key advanced reports from various HR IT systems using analytics tools
• Develop and design complex dashboards on Tableau based on standard/advanced reports from various HR IT systems
• Analyze and interpret reporting trends to obtain actionable metrics and translate them into insightful data narrative
• Collaborate with HR and Business stakeholders on HR reporting related projects/needs:
• Provide strategic support/guidance around use of HR data to the different stakeholders
• Assist stakeholders in defining their reporting requirements to cover their needs
• Define the appropriate solutions to meet their requirements
• Overview, maintain and refine the Reporting activity
• Maintain monthly & adhoc reports and dashboards in PeopleSoft, analytics tools and Tableau
• Create and maintain core HR systems reporting standards
• Analyze current operational and business processes, make recommendations, and execute changes to improve efficiency
• Work with HRIS to drive continuous improvements across the HR systems landscapes to refine reporting solutions
Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrate ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with the respective HR and Business stakeholders;
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively anticipate and identify business needs and recommend solutions to business problems;
• Solid knowledge of PeopleSoft with regards to experience with writing HR queries and performing both inner and outer table joins as required
• Strong knowledge of Business Object and knowledge of Alteryx is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop Reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to work well independently and in a team environment
• Outstanding operational skills in addition to detailed oriented work
• Proactive in seeking information, challenging norms and driving efficiency
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4-5 years of HR experience preferred, particularly in area where analysis and interpretation of data metrics are involved
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management) is an asset
• Use of Data Modeling, Database Programming and Data Access techniques and concepts
