Design high impact leadership and colleague engagement communications across traditional and digital media as Art Director for the Marsh & McLennan Corporate Communications team.
About the role
The assets and materials you’ll create will help bring our purpose and brand to life.
You’ll be responsible for conceiving and producing graphic design, data visualization, motion graphics and video production in support of the company’s strategic, financial, operational and engagement activities.
Responsibilities include:
• Ensure on-brand execution of all corporate creative;
• Develop creative for executive leadership engagements;
• Create data visualizations translating financial and strategic content into universally digestible concepts;
• Produce PowerPoint and other digital-based presentations;
• Manage filming of colleague events, including Town Halls;
• Support Corporate Communications in day-to-day creative needs, including creation of email headers, social media graphics, intranet banners, website graphics, etc.

• Significant experience developing compelling design targeting a range of audiences from colleagues to business leaders
• Proactive management including multi-tasking complex assignments
• Proven ability to produce compelling data visualization for financial metrics and results
• Cross-platform expertise with PowerPoint, InDesign and video editing packages, and proficiency across the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including classic layout, photo editing, vector illustration, digital publication, video and motion graphic tools
• High emotional intelligence and excellent judgment

• Ability to produce high quality, high volume deliverables in a dynamic environment
About you
The Art Director candidate will have significant corporate design experience and a portfolio of compelling creative campaigns and ideas that translate business, financial and strategic messages into straightforward and easily understood action items. Prior demonstrated experience developing materials for global audiences across languages and customs is preferred.
Qualifications
• At least five years’ experience in a high volume creative role
• At least three years’ experience in an executive-facing position or managerial position
• Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Graphic Design, Film/Cinematography, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, and Advertising.
• Expert user of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Understanding of digital photography principles and ability to perform light retouching in Photoshop
• Experience in video production: motion capture, sound, lighting, and basic editing skills (Adobe Premiere)
• Basic motion graphics skills, e.g. animating titles, transitions, and lower thirds from a template file (Adobe After Effects)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to engage and work closely with senior executives
• Highly organized, attentive to detail and commercially-oriented
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
