**Searching for entry level candidates with administrative and office experience who have the desire to learn and grow as a recruiter**
JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruiting Trainee is responsible for identifying and qualifying independent contractors nationwide. This includes managing contractor database, provides customer service via telephone and email, assisting in the hiring process, making outbound calls to inform of job opportunities. Also to include filling positions by determining hiring requirements; planning and implementing recruiting campaigns; targeting, contacting, and qualifying candidates. Ideal candidates will have some previous experience in recruiting, call center environment and able to handle out bound and inbound call making, with while having the ability to facilitate hiring from initial contact through hire. Recruiters have in-depth knowledge of the Independent Contractor market, geographical challenges, and industry needs. Additionally, this position is a true relationship builder and key point person for the team.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for sourcing and screening independent contractors nationwide
Identify a high quality and diverse candidate pool by utilizing available job boards and sourcing techniques including but not limited to cold call passive candidates, user group associations, and unconventional methods of recruiting
Screen resume submittals, submit to managers for review; conduct phone screenings and provide summaries of candidates
Update applicant tracking system to document actions reflecting current candidate status
Prepare and update recruiting and hiring reports
Initiate background screenings with vendor
Maintain quality service by following organization standards
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong networking, marketing, and sourcing skills required in order to market the benefits of independent contractor opportunities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and work in a team environment with multiple hiring managers
Attention to detail in all processes and procedures
Comfortable with prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fluid, high volume environment
Excellent time management skills to successfully achieve high production numbers
Exceptional Persuasion and Persistence, Telephone Sales, Customer Focus, Closing Skills, Organization, Energy Level and strong Product Knowledge
KNOWLEDGE:
Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Excellent computer and Data Entry skills
Microsoft Office Suite of applications
EDUCATION:
BS / BA or Equivalent Work Experience
EXPERIENCE:
1 to 3 years
