Job Description
Everest Global Services, Inc., a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Cyber Security and Technology Risk team at its headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ.
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to Everest’s CISO.
The Identity & Access Management Director is responsible for creating and maintaining the Identity & Access Management program, architecture and standards for delivering enterprise-wide Identity, Access, Directory and Authentication Services for employees, vendors and members with the capability to support cloud and on premise application services. This person will participate as an effective member of a passionate and highly skilled team that supports Everest’s information security policies and meets all relevant compliance requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Leads the design, implementation and support of the role based, Identity and Access Management system
• Leads the continued enhancement process for the Identity Access Management (IAM) program.
• Leads program design review working directly with customers and business owners on the integration requirements including provisioning, de-provisioning and user lifecycle of key systems and applications into the IAM platform.
• Works with vendors and partners to develop and manage program.
• Leads the team in maintaining and assessing operational requirements and service issues for improvement opportunities.
• Works with Chief Information Security Officer to develop strategic road maps for the Identity Management systems and program.
• Develops enterprise wide standards and policies for identity and access management.
• Consult with business units when implementing access levels for new systems.
• Leads the team in creating and maintaining the architecture for IAM systems.
• Reviews and approves documentation prior to releasing it to auditors.
• Must have experience working with SOX compliance and understand how control requirements may impact design and audit requirements of in scope systems.
Work Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or equivalent work or educational experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in creating and maintaining an identity and access management program required.
• Past experience with implementing and configuring and Identity and Access Management system.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SOX.
• Strong negotiation and people skills required.
• Demonstrated understanding of modern Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices required.
• Demonstrated understanding in formulating strategies, alternatives and recommendations in information security management required.
• Ability to evaluate risk and communicate it in a fact-based manner.
• Excellent conceptual, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills required.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills) required.
• Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response. CIS
• Proficient verbal and written skills required to effectively communicate in the English language.
• Information Security certification is a plus (CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.)
