Job Summary:
The data integration Lead will lead the design, develop, and scale our big data platform that is vital to the core of our business. The candidate will lead the data integration team responsible for architecting and developing scaled-out, near real-time, highly performing big data integration infrastructure allowing the bank to leverage data effectively for internal / external data ingestion, stream processing, advance analysis and applications. The ideal candidate has a passion for big data integration technology as it revolutionizes the way data processed, stored, secured and shared.
Qualifications
Additional Information:
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years related technology experience with significant people skills.
• Candidate requires the following: Strong background in leading development team (Managed a team with both operational and project responsibilities).
• A track record of success in implementation of large cross organization technology data integration projects Hadoop ecosystem experience including HDFS, Hive, HBase, MapReduce, Spark, Pig, Sqoop, and Oozie.
• Has expertise in Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala Has expertise and hands on development in Java, Scala, and Python.
• Knowledge of various ETL tools such as Pentaho, Talend, and etc.
• Has expertise in integration of data from multiple data sources and data provenance.
• Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or IBM MQ. Good understanding of Lambda Architecture, along with its advantages and drawbacks.
• Hands on experience in creating and maintaining complex WBS.
• Ability to track and drive tasks to ensure on-time completion.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical designs and terminologies into simplified business language.
• Ability to work through obstacles to identify key actionable points and focus on results.
• Hands on diagramming skills using UML.
• Experience in metadata process, data lineage and traceability repositories and technologies.
• Experience in data warehouse technologies and operation.
• Experience in data modeling and database design.
• Strong affinity for teamwork and empowering fellow engineers
