Position’s primary responsibility will be to assist in managing the outgoing transfer process by coordinating required tasks and efforts between all company departments, the client and/or new servicer. This position will also be responsible for creating, delivering, and reviewing various transfer reports, analyzing and identifying gaps in processes through internal auditing and tracking trends; and assisting with establishing or updating current procedures, coordinating transfer schedules and deliverable dates, coordinating and proctoring meetings, and communicating pertinent transfer information to all applicable departments in the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and coordinate communication with departments, new clients, existing clients and new servicers via project plans and meetings as needed throughout the transfer process.
• Establish and maintain transfer procedures for the implementation and deconversion process to include timelines, task lists, and department roles and responsibilities during and after the transfer date.
• Ensure that responsible departments are made and kept aware of transfer progress through meetings, task updates and other necessary communications.
• Leads or will assist in the creation of advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheets; databases; and SharePoint applications for the use of tracking various statistics, monitoring the service release portfolio, or creating accessible information for all applicable departments in the company.
• Report daily findings and ongoing unresolved issues to management in a timely fashion.
• Research process gaps and report to management team in a timely fashion.
• Ensures that accurate records of direct transfer costs and revenue are well documented and maintained.
• Maintains and improves knowledge of standard and special mortgage documents and products.
• Assists with the maintenance of QC and data integrity policies and procedures, including the research and identification of root cause issues.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in finance, computer or data related field required.
• Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in mortgage servicing, mortgage related or finance/banking field required.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Access, SharePoint, and Word is required.
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet organizational deadlines, and multi-task are critical to job success.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and verbal/written communication skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers, other departments, and clients in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.
