What does a great Software Developer do?
As a Software Developer, you will support and enhance products by developing new software applications and by enhancing existing software applications. You should demonstrate a strong ability to model and translate business requirement to a database architecture and design. In this role you will analyze, design, develop, code, test, and maintain software systems. You will work within a team, work on projects independently and lead other developers within technical aspects of a project as well as other areas of the Development Staff to develop and complete the project within deadlines

As a Software Developer, you can look forward to:
• Code development using PL/SQL and optionally SQR/Python and/or C# .Net
• Responsible for the code quality resulting in an excellent customer experience.
Ability to work in scrum/feature team in various capacities and get the desired results.
• PL/SQL performance, tuning and debugging (not pre-requisite).
• Follow the development schedule based on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects.
• Discuss functional and technical issues with Business Analysts and Architects.
• Work closely with Project Manager as and when required for project status reporting.
• Helps monitor project schedule (red, yellow, green) and helps suggest potential late issues.
• Escalates Risks/Issues in Project as soon as observed.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
• BS/BA degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of programming experience in PL/SQL
• SQL or Oracle PL/SQL experience, including debugging
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Proven research and analytical skills
• Database concepts
• The ability to code from technical requirements and design specification documents
• A self-directed and highly motivated work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in independent as well as team environments
• Willingness to work on new and existing products.
• Bank / Credit Union or financial services experience is a plus
• Experience of Relational Databases and ERA methods or Systems design experience from Relational Database modeling to architectural design a plus.
