Job Summary:
The Policy & Governance Lead will lead the efforts in defining and implementing the set of policies and procedures in support of the Office of the Chief Data Officer (CDO) as well was support the administration of governance committees and working groups.
The Data Management Policy Lead will work closely with the senior CDO members and business and function key stakeholders to design and implement policies and procedures that are required in order to ensure that our data is under proper governance
Major Responsibilities:
• Build out framework for Data Management Policy
• Analysis of current state and build out future state sets of polices gaining support and concurrence from key stakeholders
• Build out Policy assessment framework and process.
• Build out Policy compliance KPI's Monitor and report on Policy compliance
• Build out and maintain the Policy Dispensation process.
• Evaluate and implement tooling to manage Policy and Policy assessment
• Support administration of the Data Management Committee, its working groups, and subcommittees, working with cross-functional membership
Qualifications
Additional Information:
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years related technology and Data management experience
• A track record of success in implementation of cross organization COE data initiatives
• Has worked in a large scale CDO organization and was responsible for data Management Policy framework and implementation
• Has a strong background in Data Management and the 3 Lines of Defense
• Has strong management, organizational and evaluative process skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with internal partners and external vendors
