Job Summary
Delivers learning solutions to enhance competencies and effectiveness of audiences up to and including supervisory and professional level learners which address current and future business goals of the organization. Contributes to analyzing, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating learning and performance improvement solutions to close performance gaps. Partners with other areas in designing and delivering learning and performance solutions. Responsible for learners' success in achieving learning objectives. Responsible for business results generated through learning and performance improvement solutions and tools (instructor-led (classroom and virtual), e-learning, job aids, coaching, learning management systems and other learning technologies).
Essential Job Functions
Assists in conducting needs analysis on projects of all levels of complexity. Performs needs assessment for projects of low to inte rmediate complexity for supervisory/professional level audiences. Contributes on project teams in designing learning for all levels of complexity. Leads projects of medium complexity to design learning solutions for audiences up to and including supervisory/professional level learners, using adult learning practices and technologies appropriate to the needed outcome. Employs selected learning delivery techniques and/or technologies on projects of intermediate complexity for supervisory/professional level audiences. Participates in analyzing, selecting, and integrating technologies into the learning solutions. Delivers and maintains established learning and performance improvement solutions as designed for content of intermediate complexity for audiences up to and including supervisory/professional learners. Provides feedback to participants during application of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Maintains design and content of established learning solutions. Provides feedback to the design team on solutions’ effectiveness in changing behavior and achieving business results. Makes recommendations on modifications to solution design and content. Assists with measurement and evaluation of learning and performance solutions of all levels of complexity. Evaluates learning solutions of intermediate complexity for supervisory/professional level audience. Coaches supervisory/professional level learners to enhance their performance and is accountable for the improved results at the indi vidual and team level. Utilizes, maintains, researches and/or recommends basic to intermediate learning technology tools. Provides technical support for learners and other facilitators as needed. Assists in the planning, testing and implementation of new applications, systems, processes and/or procedures. Assists in supporting organizational knowledge management infrastructure. Assists and serves as project team member on department and corporate projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs. Ma ximum, bending, talking, and hearing.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment. Ability to travel.
Education Requirements
Four-year college degree; appropriate insurance/learning designations; attainment of any applicable licenses within 6 months of hire.
Experience Requirements
Two years overall business experience with one year of insurance or L <(>&<)>D experience or equivalent technical expertise related to L <(>&<)>D
