Basic Purpose:
Provide support to home office contacts of broker dealers, assisting them in processing transactions and related functions. Communicating information needed by the dealers, transfer agent or other Eaton Vance departments.
Position Responsibilities:
• Act as primary contact for Financial Intermediary home office personnel
• Provide up to date information relative to fund trading, transaction processing, account maintenance, and problem resolution
• Develop relationships with contacts in home office operations areas of Broker Dealer, Financial Advisor and Trust Firms
• Accept trades requests via phone and fax, and work with Transfer Agent to facilitate transaction processing
• Assist Sales Team with operational or prospectus related questions
• Generate bills and facilitate collection for trade losses on home office adjustments or as/of trade requests
• Review Omnibus dealer reports for Intermediary Due Diligence purposes.
• Provide specialized support to broker dealers operating in the Omnibus environment
• Assist in reporting to management on dealer related topics such as excessive trading, CDSC reporting and Omnibus12b-1 invoicing
• Review and Facilitate payment of dealer invoices
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of related experience
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 preferred
• Understanding of Fund/SERV and Network processing
• Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks with a sense of prioritization
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong relationship management skills
• Able to work well within a team atmosphere as well as independently
• Professional attitude with a strong desire to learn the mutual fund business
