As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for your products. By closely aligning with the product management team, you will craft the messaging and positioning for products based on real estate data. You’ll also conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand for the sales team. You will be the chief advocate for the go to market strategy that you create to launch and grow real estate data driven solutions.
Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp problem, solution, benefit marketing is crucial. In your role as the Senior Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria. You will bring to market data that provides insight to businesses across many different markets including, mortgage lending, real estate services, FinTech, ReTech, InsureTech and whatever NewTech that comes along and is built on the foundation of property data. You are the definitive modern marketer – data-driven, buyer focused, content marketer, sales enabler, social media maven, insight provider, outside the box thinker and doer, enthusiastic and ready to roll with whatever comes your way.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates DataTree.com in the market
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools (case studies, product videos, website copy, emails etc.) that support the selling and buying process of your products
• Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
• Challenger focus – drive the strategy and tactics that instills buyers to want to consider alternatives to the solutions they have in place today.
• Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
• Demonstrate a quick to adapt process of creating unique marketing messages and materials for verticals that include banks, credit unions, real estate, public utilities, title & settlement services, legal and more.
• Maximize product and brand exposure to drive more traffic and qualified leads.
• Work closely with the digital marketing manager for lead generation strategy and execution planning and the graphic designer for visual engagement.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
• Strong leadership presence with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders and all levels of management
• Experience in marketing strategies and tactics across todays modern marketing mix
• Knowledge of b2b marketing
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, social media, hubspot, salesforce
• Strong interpersonal skills with keen ability to explain complex concepts across the organization and to large audiences
• Sound decision making, creativity, and problem solving skills
• Ability to build relationships and ensure cooperation across First American product companies
• Solid administrative skills; management skills
• High level of business acumen, strategic agility, ability to develop others, influence outcomes and change, and negotiate for resources
• Must be able to establish credibility and be decisive, coupled with the ability to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities
• Successful track record designing, developing, and executing complex projects in area of functional expertise
• Strong capacity to communicate the function’s vision and the department’s direction and set aligned goals. Provides resources and creates systems to measure results
• Drives and models customer loyalty, manages customer expectations, solicits customer feedback and ensures commitments are met
• Collaboratively engages with leaders to create, identify, and implement solutions to further effectiveness of the business
Typical Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Business Admin / Marketing)
Typical Range of Experience
• 7+ years experience in marketing / product marketing
• Demonstrated leadership
