Director, Business Marketing
Job Purpose:
This position is a key driver of strategy development and execution of strategic marketing roadmaps for our Business Experience Unit. The Director will lead business brand and marketing strategy as well as content development and content development teams. The Director, Business Marketing will connect across the enterprise to ensure our end-to-end experience aligns with our customer’s needs.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develops and leverages an in-depth understanding of customer needs.
• Translates customer and marketplace data and dynamics into business insight that optimizes the customer experience.
• Develop and execute marketing strategy.
• Lead the creation of compelling content strategy that leads to engagement in the right channel in sync with the customer’s buying journey.
• Develop and manage marketing support processes, brand operations/creative review processes, production design, print process and inventory.
• Cultivates an environment of innovation across the team that brings forward new ideas, approaches and methodologies to reach customers in a relevant and differentiated way.
• Lead and manage development of a staff of managers and support staff.
• Develop and oversee execution of customer-centered positioning and messaging strategy.
• Develop and oversee execution of channel and promotion strategy by customer segment and product/solution.
• Development of new products/programs as assigned.
• Through customer insights, fuel market expansion with quantifiable opportunities that make an impact and align with customer needs.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent in related professional work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in large scale, marketing environment.
3. Working knowledge of all functions including marketing, content development, market research, product development, sales, service, and finance.
4. Expertise in digital engagement and inbound marketing preferred.
5. Ability to lead a cross-functional team in a high matrix environment. Skill in coaching and developing other is preferred.
6. Demonstrated ability to apply business strategy development concepts and traditional strategy analysis models at the product/program level. Ability to translate strategy into action with solid planning and execution.
7. Highly developed presentation skills and ability to tell “data stories”
