The Quantitative Research Product Team improves the alpha research process by identifying cross-cutting synergies, modeling technologies, best-in-class data pipelines and operational workflows. Our work is a blend of product management, business development, process excellence and relationship management. The team works across the firm to implement these strategies.
The Quantitative Research Product Analyst will make important contributions to a diverse array of projects and will develop a deep contextual understanding of the intersection of financial analysis and technology. We are a small team with no formal hierarchies – so the analyst role has significant potential for learning and impact.
Responsibilities
• Execute plans to upgrade data and associated modeling technology products
• Identify, triage and collaborate with Engineers to rectify data operations errors
• Assist modelers to upgrade data pipelines and modeling workflows
• Design and maintain reporting for technology projects and operational processes
• Maintain effective two-way communication with all stakeholders and associated priorities
• Manage data curation and quality initiatives at scale, expertly blending automation and human-assisted processes
Requirements
• A strong academic track record with coursework in finance, pursuit of CFA or MBA a plus
• 2-5 years in the financial industry, dealing with complex business processes; experience working within highly automated, process driven businesses preferred
• Eagerness to work in an evolving and fast-paced environment and to develop a solid understanding of the quantitative investment process
• Familiarity with Agile framework and previous software product management preferred
