The Role:
Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. is seeking a Treasury Associate to join our Global Treasury Group. The Associate will assist the Treasury Team in daily functionality and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage cash flow forecasts for multiple business units, develop understanding of daily and monthly cash flow trends
• Monitor and manage firm’s daily cash positions; responsible for collateral & cash management
• Review and assess bank account fees and balance levels to ensure minimum charges and maximum returns
• Update and maintain relationship summaries for primary bank partners
• Coordinate cash movements for weekly 15c3-3 lockup requirements
• Generate Internal and External Liquidity & Funding Reporting
• Analyze and report on liquidity stress test models
• Maintain and improve Cash Capital Reporting
• Maintain debt principal and interest schedules
• Assist on quarterly covenant compliance calculations
• Respond to ad hoc requests from various departments
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management is required
• 1-3 years of related experience in Corporate Treasury preferably within Capital Markets space
• Advanced analytical and Excel capabilities, ability to multitask
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to meet quality standards and ability to manage tight deadlines
