The Successful candidate in this position will work with Senior Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Technology and other business partners to analyze and develop strategies for Personal Loans Originations in various channels, to achieve profitable growth while maintaining credit risk within acceptable levels.Responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop new credit criteria for Personal Loans Originations
• Evaluate new data sources and new techniques to develop credit strategies with an open mind
• Keep well informed on industry trends and competition with an eye for looking to continuously improve the business
• Coach and develop team reporting to the position (communications, business, technical, etc as needed)
• Develop MIS to monitor and Application and Portfolio Trends, adjusting policy and strategies wherever necessary
• Communicate effectively with peers and senior management about credit performance and profitability; ensure the business is within the company’s risk appetite
• Manages relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
• Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes
Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• A background in sophisticated quantitative environments within world-class organizations in personal loans, credit cards, or a related industry
• Excellent communication/influencing skills and ability to navigate through matrix, integrated organizational structure and reach out to various constituent groups
• Thorough knowledge of product segmentations, credit loss activities and key drivers of P&L
• Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally managing teams
