Job Description Summary
Responsible for leading the team charged with design and implementation of new segment reporting and analytics to key stakeholders in the bank. Provide strategic insight by analyzing data to generate insightful predictive analysis to guide senior management business decision making through the provision of financial performance metrics across SME & Mass Affluent segments in Consumer Banking, Shadow Wealth, and new verticals in Commercial Banking. Direct the budget/forecast process and improvements to the monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis. Will partner with the business lines, support groups, accounting and treasury, and provide insightful and actionable analysis to identify opportunities to improve process, efficiency, profitability, productivity. Drive FP&A feedback loop: actuals, planning, reporting, analysis, better assumptions to shine a light on risks and opportunities for executive management and track where they are incorporated into the current forecast.
Essential Job Functions
• Partner with the business and support groups to develop analytical framework to design and measure segment and channel profitability.
• Oversee development of analytical capabilities to evaluate and review the financial impact of a business segment/channel's planned business actions on the bank. Segment/channels that are defined to be incorporated into the bank's RAROC (Risk Adjusted Return on Capital) framework).
• Responsible for working with business lines to understand their Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and to incorporate those drivers into the profitability analysis of the Bank.
• Create strategic analysis of business line/unit profitability that allows for senior management to make strategic decisions regarding the allocation of resources to the business activity.
• Responsible for the development of segment reporting to internal consumers, as well as the Board of Directors. Ensure meaningful and relevant information while guaranteeing data accuracy and integrity.
• Responsible for effective communication of potential issues of meeting budget/forecast reporting deliverable and deadlines to senior management.
• Act as primary FP&A liaison with the FARM team to support Finance's strategic transformation in regards to segment and product profitability design elements.
• Manage team of analysts with focus on data acquisition and analysis, in addition to writing requirements and helping to manage the development testing, operations and documentation of the Hyperion Cube.

Qualifications
Required Experience
• Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
• Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
• Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree
Skills
• Must have a working knowledge of the Bank’s loan, deposit and investment products.
• Prior experience working with large implementation projects would be beneficial for the candidate.
• Must have solid organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment and meet deadlines with quality results.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing, business requirement proposals, client interaction, and methodology documentation.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including senior executives, managers and subject matter experts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail is highly desired.
• Must be able to work independently and proactively and take initiative in solving problems quickly.
• Ability to work closely with the data and technology specialists on project assignments.
• Experience with statistical modeling platforms such as SAS applied to large data sets is desirable.
